CARY

Trademark registered in the 1920s, renowned for the high manufacturing of smooth buffer gauges and ring gauges, then for its measuring instruments dedicated to the watchmaking and precision industry.

Since December 1st 2014, CARY became independent.
Entrepreneurs from the watch industry joined forces to start this new adventure in order to give back to CARY its dynamism and freedom

SPHERIDUR Gauges

SPHERIDUR gauges open up new horizons in terms of accuracy, safety, ease and duration of hole gauging and the calibration of measuring benches.

They differ from conventional cylindrical plug gauges in that their active parts are spherical.

Pin gauges

Cary manufactures Pin Gauges in standard quality with a precision of +/- 0.4 micron and master of +/- 0.15 micron.

Steel from 0.05 to 10mm
Hard Metal from 0.3 to 6mm

We can also manufacture specific size up to 60mm. Service, maintenance and certification of complete sets, and replacement.

Bagues

CARY manufactures Ring Gauges with a precision of +/- 0.6 micron.

Steel from 0.151 to 30mm
Hard Metal from 0.06 to 30mm

On demand, we can also manufacture specific size up to 60mm Service, maintenance, certification of complete sets and replacement.

Measuring bench

CARY manufactures precision measuring benches of two categories. The BMH (micrometrics screws) and the BMF (fixed head).

Measuring range of 10mm. A hole of 8mm enabling you to put any electronic probing system

Gauges block

Since 1940, CARY is known to master the production of gages block (also known as Johansson gauges, slip gauges, or Jo blocks).

CARY was the first laboratory in Switzerland to obtain a SCS certification with the accreditation number #1. Therefore, we decided to share our expertise with you by opening a metrology consulting office.
